Liz Hessman
Liz is a provisionally licensed mental health practitioner in Nebraska. Liz holds her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Child and Adolescent Specialization from The Family Institute at Northwestern University. Liz completed her B.S. in psychology and cultural anthropology at Creighton University. She has experience working with children and their families in the behavioral health field in partial care and in home settings as a BHIS provider. Liz works to provide children, teens, and young adults the tools and a safe place to grow and succeed. She believes that healing takes place when one is seen, heard, and understood so that past hurts can gradually be released. She incorporates psychodynamic, CBT, ACT, and somatic interventions with special consideration of developmental level and attachment style into her practice as a counselor.
